Audi has officially unveiled the new 2026 A6 Sedan, its most aerodynamic gasoline-powered version to date.

While SUVs dominate the market, the German automaker continues to invest in traditional sedans, as proven by the arrival of the new A6 generation, which shares design and interior with the Avant wagon.

The model is built on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), distinct from the electric A6 E-Tron, and features a sleek design, real exhaust outlets, and significant improvements in acoustic insulation and interior quality.

The new A6 offers both gasoline and diesel engine options, with highlights including a 3.0 V6 mild-hybrid engine and Quattro all-wheel drive, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. The base model features a 2.0 turbo engine producing 201 hp. Inside, the sedan includes three screens (two standard and one optional for the passenger), enhanced soundproofing, new seals, and a trunk capacity of 492 liters. The Avant version offers even more space with the seats folded down.

Available tech features include a sound system with up to 20 speakers, four-zone climate control, an adjustable glass panoramic roof, rear-wheel steering, adaptive air suspension, and soft-close doors.

The new A6 goes on sale in Germany later this month, starting at approximately $63,000, with deliveries expected in the European summer. The North American version is scheduled to arrive as a 2026 model.
